The Cradlepoint R1900 router is a robust 5G router optimized for networks in vehicles, such as buses and trucks. The R1900 is a versatile router that generates a constant and fast connection to track or connect vehicles from IoT devices. On 5G, the router offers download speeds of up to 4.1 Gbps and upload speeds of 660 Mbps. The IP64-rated Cradlepoint router offers a compact design where wireless and wired connections have optimal port placement. This makes it easy to install this 5G router in the tightest places.

Accurate GPS capabilities
The R1900 offers accurate GPS with dead-reckoning and OBD-II integration via the NetCloud Manager. This allows location and signal strength details to be shared via the Cloud. With this data, the vehicle location is easily identified. But administrators can also easily track or trace routes in real time and determine LTE/5G cellular coverage over a traveled area.
Online anytime, anywhere
Vehicles, such as patrol cars or city buses, are constantly driving in and out of mobile LTE and 5G coverage and Wi-Fi zones, affecting available WAN bandwidth. The Cradlepoint R1900 has failover which means the 5G modem automatically switches to 4G when there is no 5G network available. In addition, 2 SIM cards can be inserted to ensure a good network connection at all times.
Expandable connectivity via managed accessory docks
The R1900 comes with several managed accessories to expand connectivity options (sold separately). They include a 4-port gigabit Ethernet switch with POE(RX30-POE) and a second modular modem(RX30-MC) for additional mobile connections. Also, a second MC400-5G modem can be integrated for more dual functionality. These optional accessories fit into the same compact size as the R1900 and can be installed at any time.
Cradlepoint NetCloud Mobile: manage your devices through the cloud
This Cradlepoint 5G router is part of a NetCloud Mobile package, a comprehensive network service that includes the combination of Netcloud management software, warranty and support.
