Teltonika RUT260
The Teltonika RUT260 is a 4G LTE CAT.6 cellular router with with with WAN failover. Balancing the key features of the RUT240 and RUT360, this router is powerful, lightweight and supports a wide range of industrial protocols, including MQTT, SNMP, Modbus and more. This WiFi router is ideally suited for professional M2M & IoT applications. It is a compact, cost-effective and secure industrial 4G/LTE WiFi router for professional applications. The RUT260 is equipped with an external SIM holder and digital input/output. In addition, the LEDs reveal the status for signal strength. In short, the 4G router provides easy network deployment and management. External SMA connectors allow you to connect desired antennas and easily find the best signal location.
The RUT260 Industrial LTE router supports industry-leading security features and is widely used for 4G backup, Remote Connection, Out-of-Band Management, Advanced VPN and tunneling services in IoT network solutions. The Wi-Fi is functional in both: Access point and Station mode simultaneously and WAN failover provides automatic switching to alternative backup connection in case of connectivity problems.

Comparison of RUT240/RUT241 and RUT360
The Teltonika RUT260 is an upgraded version of the RUT240/RUT241, with 4G/LTE Cat. 6 instead of Cat. 4. This means that the RUT260 has the same housing, CPU, interfaces and more than the RUT241. Compared to the RUT360, the Teltonika RUT260 is more compact. The Wi-Fi performance, on the other hand, is slightly worse because the RUT260 has a single Wi-Fi antenna (the RUT360 has 2x Wi-Fi antennas). This makes the RUT260 more suitable for applications where Wi-Fi is less crucial.
