Protection against dust and water
Featuring a rugged IP67 enclosure, the Teltonika FMC230 provides trusted protection against dust and resistance to water. IP67 is a designation for the water and dust resistance of electronic devices. The IP67 rating means that a device meets certain standards in terms of its resistance to water and dust. The first digit, in this case “6,” refers to the dust resistance of the device. A 6 means that the device is completely dustproof and no dust particles can penetrate. The second digit, in this case “7,” refers to the device’s water resistance. A 7 means the device can withstand immersion in water to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes without sustaining damage.
