This allows the router to automatically switch to the other mobile 5G network if the primary connection fails. Once the main connection is functioning again, the router switches back to it as soon as possible, this is called fallback. Because the package optionally comes with a fixed IP address, it can be configured for a firewall just like a traditional Internet connection, if one is present. Should the primary 5G connection with fixed IP address fail, the connection will continue on the other mobile network.
