Capestone today announced its distribution agreement with CommScope. With this agreement, both companies intensify cooperation in the field of Private Networking. Together, Capestone and CommScope will now be able to support over 1,000 EMEA channel partners in providing secure and sustainable Private LTE and 5G solutions for mission- and mission-critical processes. Companies will gain even greater control over users, data traffic and devices on the network with these private 4G/5G solutions. This offers opportunities for the event industry, construction sites, industries, warehousing and healthcare, among others.

Entering into the current agreement adds the CommScope ERA portfolio and passive components in addition to the distribution of CommScope ONECELL products. ONECELL technology combines LTE and 5G coverage with a simple deployment model to cost-effectively meet enterprise needs for commercial mobile services and private LTE and 5G networks. CommScope’s all-digital ERA distributed antenna system provides simpler and more cost-effective wireless communications in buildings. Operating on standard IT infrastructure – Category 6A and fiber – these solutions enable operators, neutral hosts and enterprises to provide high capacity with “good coverage” in buildings. ERA technology is evolving the conventional architecture of distributed antenna systems (DAS) by adding C-RAN capabilities. By being able to offer this complete portfolio, Capestone will be able to position itself even better as a spatialized distributor for (private) indoor telecom solutions.
