Junior Network Engineer (Private) 4G/5G & IoT

As a Network Engineer, you are an important link in service delivery, accessibility and communication with our partners, resellers and customers.

Primarily provide support on the delivered products and services in the areas of 4G/5G mobile networking, routing, switching and mobile data connectivity. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the field of Private Networks.

You are independent, enjoy project-based work, accurate, like to work hard and have an affinity for IT, IoT and new technologies such as (Private) 5G. From your technical expertise you know how to promote sales through solid technical support and advice towards employees, resellers and their customers.

You provide an expertise role to help our resellers on their way with the most common technical and application questions in the field of (Private) 4G/5G and IoT.

Tasks and duties;

  • Testing and implementing networks and delivering them as technically optimal as possible;
  • Analyze and solve problems, to bring this back to the agreed service level with the customer;
  • Manage systems and projects with associated network infrastructures;
  • Maintain documentation on the environment to be managed;
  • Transfer technical specialist knowledge to colleagues and customers
  • Remote setup and configuration of mobile routers and switches
  • Implementation of changes in existing configurations and solutions

What do we expect from you?

  • At least a completed MBO education
  • Experience in project-based work is a plus
  • Practical knowledge of routing (BGP, OSPF, etc.), switching and firewalling.
  • Demonstrated experience with routers/switches/VPN/Firewalls/NAC is a plus;
  • You are solution-oriented and dare to go out of the box with solutions;
  • You possess excellent communication skills and are capable of team performance;
  • You are interested in developments in your field and have a vision about them;
  • You are motivated to continue learning and would like to work at a club that values development.
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
  • You reside in the Netherlands
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license (B)
