Vacancy Internal Sales Representative

To strengthen the commercial team, Capestone is looking for a Internal Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team. This role includes managing sales documentation, preparing quotes, coordinating internal processes and optimizing administrative workflows to ensure sales processes run smoothly. You will also be the first point of contact for partners and play a key role in qualifying leads and setting appointments for the sales team.

Tasks and duties

Sales Team Support:

  • Assist the sales team with daily administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and draft quotations and sales proposals.
  • Coordinate logistics around sales activities, such as scheduling appointments and meetings.

Telephone Contact:

  • First point of contact for incoming phone calls and customer inquiries.
  • Handle general customer inquiries and refer to appropriate colleagues within the sales team.

Qualifying Leads and Making Appointments:

  • Qualify incoming leads.
  • Scheduling appointments for the sales team with potential and existing customers.
  • Tracking leads to identify and develop sales opportunities.

Sales Documentation and Reporting:

  • Manage sales documentation and ensure all sales materials are up to date.
  • Maintain sales reports and analysis to provide insight into sales performance and trends.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales activities for the management team.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage customer data and sales information in the CRM system.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and product updates.
  • Assist in organizing national and international events and trade shows.

Internal Coordination:

  • Function as a liaison between the sales team and other internal departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
  • Assist in establishing and managing internal processes and procedures that support sales activities.

What we expect from you

Education and Experience:

  • At least an intermediate vocational (MBO) degree.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within sales support or administrative support.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of IoT products and services is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and relationship skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
