What will you do?
As Business Unit Manager, you are responsible for the growth and success of the portfolio of products and services within the Mobile Networks & IoT business unit. You translate business objectives into concrete annual plans and ensure the expansion of our customer portfolio and turnover within Europe. You will maintain active contact with suppliers, vendors and strategic partners and work closely with the international sales and marketing team to successfully introduce new product-market combinations and campaigns into the market.

Tasks and duties

  • Responsible for business unit sales, margin and strategy.
  • Build revenue and margin with existing customers and partners.
  • Translating the company’s sales and marketing strategy into an annual plan and formulating concrete objectives with regard to this business unit.
  • New business development by broadening sales channels, exploring and introducing new products and suppliers, markets and market channels.
  • Maintain relationships with strategic vendors, suppliers, partners, customers, external media and other stakeholders.
  • Intensive collaboration with the international sales and marketing team and the Wireless Connectivity business unit manager for new product-market combinations, campaigns and events.

What we expect from you

  • You are ambitious and a team player with a positive attitude and energetic disposition.
  • Several years of experience in Telecom/IT, Distribution and/or Service Provider business in a similar position is a plus.
  • Experience and competencies related to cost and margin calculations, commercial contracts, vendor management, purchasing and sales strategies.
  • You are a commerçant, have a clear vision and know how to implement it in the organization. You are able to close complex deals.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
