T1600G-52PS PoE+ Gigabit Switch
The T1600G-52PS is an advanced Gigabit PoE+ switch with 48 Gigabit LAN ports with PoE+ support. These deliver up to 30W of power per port with a total power budget of 384W. This switch is powerful enough to extend the corporate network with a wide range of network devices including IP cameras, wireless access points and IP phones. In addition, there are 4 Gigabit SFP ports on the device.
L2 and L2+ functionalities
This switch supports numerous L2 and L2+ functionalities, including 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port Isolation, Port Mirroring and 802.3 Flow Control. There are also features to maintain the network, such as Loop Back Detection and IGMP Snooping. Finally, static routing is also present on the TI600-52PS. By applying static routing, data traffic runs through predefined paths and the network will be utilized more efficiently.
Extensive network security
With the T1600G-52PS, the network is extremely secure. For example, the switch applies features such as IP-MAC Port Bundling, Port Security and DHCP Snooping. The Access Control Lists (ACL, L2 to L4) feature protects sensitive network data by blocking packets based on MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and VLAN ID. In addition, the switch supports 802.1X, which identifies network users via remote Radius servers. With the guest VLAN feature, non-802.1X users cannot enter the general network and can only access the guest network.
Quality of Services
This switch features Quality of Services support. Meaning that you can prioritize certain data streams using Port Priority, 802.1P Priority and DSCP Priority. This ensures that a stable connection for the most important data is always guaranteed. For example, voice and video applications can be given priority over standard Internet traffic. This prevents delays during phone calls or video playback.
Comprehensive management functions
TP-Link’s T1600G-52PS is easy to manage via the intuitive web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) or the industry-standard Command Line Interface (CLI). Conveniently, valuable switch status information can also be queried, as well as error reports for abnormal events.
