Tektelic Breeze CO2 Smart Room Sensor
The Tektelic Breeze Co2 Smart Room Sensor continuously collects data on CO2 levels, but can also track ambient temperature and humidity. The device transmits this data to the E-Ink Display. It is ideal for visualizing the data collected through the Breeze sensor.
The Co2 Smart Room Sensor can be used in schools, retail stores, healthcare facilities, laboratories and office spaces. By combining the energy-efficient technologies offered by LoRaWAN, BLE and E-Ink, it provides a solution with low power consumption. The E-Ink Display tablet is completely wireless and can be mounted on a table or on the wall.
Accurate CO2 measurements
Tektelic’s CO2 sensor includes a low-power CO2 converter (the Senseair Sunrise) that uses NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) technology to measure CO2 concentration (in parts per million) in the air. NDIR is the most commonly used type of sensor to measure CO2. By taking measurements according to a configurable measurement period, the sensor can monitor CO2 levels. The CO2 transducer takes an adjustable number of subsamples per measurement to increase accuracy. The most recent measurement is sent via LoRa and/or BLE.
There is also an option to filter the CO2 measurements to reduce the likelihood of rapid bursts of high CO2 levels in an otherwise stable environment.
