5G Router for Vehicles
The Sierra Wireless AirLink MG90 provides lightning-fast and reliable network connectivity on the go and is specifically designed for applications in transportation and transit. Think for example of company vehicles, public transport, courier services, transport companies and emergency services. The mobile M2M router supports 5G with global coverage and download speeds of up to 2 Gbps. When 5G network is not available, the AirLink MG90 automatically switches to 4G (LTE CAT20). Management of the AirLink MG90 is via AirLink Management Service or via AirLink Mobility Manager.
Suitable for harsh conditions
The Sierra Wireless AirLink MG90 is designed for use in harsh conditions and has been extensively tested for this. For example, the gateway complies with the military standard MIL-STD and the aluminum housing offers protection against dust and moisture (IP64). Shock, vibration and high temperatures also do no harm.
WiFi and Bluetooth
The Sierra Wireless AirLink MG90 features 5 Gigabit LAN ports for connecting your network devices, but you can also connect to this 5G router wirelessly. The MG90 can connect up to 128 simultaneous devices and provide a fast WiFi connection (802.11ac). In addition, the MG90 features Bluetooth and the router can receive existing WiFi hotspots through the WiFi as WAN functionality.
Dual SIM & GPS
This 5G mobile router contains 1 dual SIM modem, which allows you to insert SIM cards from 2 different providers into the device. This way the router can automatically switch to a second network when the other network is down. The downtime is thus reduced to a minimum. By using the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) navigation technology your vehicle can always be traced, even in tunnels and underground parking lots.
