Peplink Balance One Core

The Peplink Balance One Core is an enterprise Dual-WAN router that is particularly suited for small business environments where fast, reliable and stable mobile Internet is required. This high-speed router has a throughput of 600Mbps and features 2 Gigabit WAN and 8 Gigabit LAN ports, which are customizable.

USB port for 3G/4G modem

Peplink’s Balance One Core features a USB port for connecting a 3G/4G LTE modem for Failover. In case the internet connection is lost, this modem takes over the tasks of the network. The USB port supports more than 250 3G/4G modems from different providers.

VPN tunnels

With the Peplink Balance One Core, VPN tunnels can be easily set up. A VPN tunnel is a secure connection to work on the corporate network from any location. This router can set up up to 2 VPN tunnels at a time, allowing multiple users to work on the corporate network from one location at a time.

Convert LAN ports to WAN, SpeedFusion

With an optional license it is possible to convert the first three LAN ports (1-3) to WAN ports (3-5), keep in mind that this lowers the maximum throughput of the router to 400 Mbps.

Creating additional WAN ports is useful, for example, when the optional SpeedFusion bonding license is purchased. Among other things, this license allows Internet connections from different providers to be joined together to create a higher bandwidth. This boosts the performance of the network.

AP Controller and InControl2

With the AP Controller and InControl2, the wireless network of the Peplink can be easily managed. With this low-threshold interface, reports and detailed event logs can be viewed. It can also be used to set up a WiFi hotspot for the customer. This can be done with the Captive Portal function of the controller. This allows you to easily determine things like connection speed and data usage limits.
